Being on saddle again for first time after three months….
It has been a tough and difficult time when my passion has came to halt for almost 13 weeks during the lockdown resulting in not being with the horses like Womble a lot that makes my mental health so difficult enough which is impossible because I could not find anything that makes me happy as being stuck at home.
It was really devastating that the charity Riding for the Disabled Association has cancelled all of their Regional Qualifiers and the biggest event, RDA National Championships 2020 that has been cancelled with immediate effect due to the COVID 19 situation resulting them being closed means so it was really disappointing to be not competing at all.
I am very grateful that our coach Matt Bryan who were looked after Wimbledon through the difficult time to ensure that Womble is really fit and ready for me to ride him when it is really safe.
I was really thrilled to hear that the government have finally relaxed some exercising restrictions slowly so I can continue my passion with Wimbledon and begin to work hard and achieve my goals again with support from my coach.
Making my return to the saddle in late June to resume my progress since the lockdown was a very positive thing to enjoy and looking forward to work hard together.
