Matt’s Incredible 2023-24!
At just 29 years old, I achieved so much in 2023-2024. It fills me with pride and happiness to look back at all my accomplishments in that year.
∙ Winning the RDA UK Volunteer of the Year 2023 representing RDA’s North Midlands RDA Region as Regional Publicity Officer.
∙ Received the RDA Over & Above Award last year for giving up some exceptional volunteering time at Scropton Horse Centre.
∙ Continuing our riding lesson twice every week.
∙ Working so hard on our exercising with The Sports Injury Clinic in Derby.
∙ Went to Harry Potter World in Watford twice which was amazing.
∙ Meeting Winnie (my brother's dog) for the first time.
∙ Growing my own strawberries in the garden.
∙ Making more memories with Rolo and passing the assistance dog assessment again, and still train together with Darwin Dogs.
∙ Capturing some amazing shots of sunsets, flowers and improving my photographic skills in my own time.
∙ Enjoying my own independence living with great support.
